Zachary McFarland was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge McFarland earned a Bachelor of Science in 2005 from Missouri State University and a Juris Doctor in 2008 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. From November 2012 to April 2026, he served as an assistant prosecuting attorney at the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in Springfield, Missouri, after serving in elections operations at the Greene County Clerk's Office from February 2010 to November 2012. Judge McFarland is a member of the Missouri Bar.

Education: Judge McFarland earned a Bachelor of Science in 2005 from Missouri State University and a Juris Doctor in 2008 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
