Official biography

Xinzhe Zhang was appointed as a temporary immigration judge to begin hearing cases in February 2026. Judge Zhang earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2009 from Saint Louis University and a Juris Doctor in 2016 from Saint Louis University School of Law. From 2023 to 2026, he served as a judge advocate in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, currently holding the rank of major at Legal Information Services, Office of the Judge Advocate General, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. From 2017 to 2023, he served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, with assignments across the globe, including the United States, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. Judge Zhang is a member of the Missouri Bar.

Education: Judge Zhang earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2009 from Saint Louis University and a Juris Doctor in 2016 from Saint Louis University School of Law.

Bar admission: Judge Zhang is a member of the Missouri Bar.
