Official biography

Samuel G. Williams was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in November 2024. Judge Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1991 from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Juris Doctor in 2001 from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. From 2023 to 2024, he served as the chief of National Security Law at Camp Humphreys, South Korea while mobilized as an Army reservist. From 2002 to 2022, he served as an assistant criminal district attorney for the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office in Fort Worth, Texas. Judge Williams is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

Education: Judge Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1991 from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Juris Doctor in 2001 from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.

Bar admission: Judge Williams is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
