Robin Donato was appointed as a temporary immigration judge to begin hearing cases in October 2025. Judge Donato earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1988 from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor in 1991 from Boston University School of Law. From 2020 to 2025, she served as senior attorney in the Criminal Law Division of Headquarters, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, while also serving as individual mobilization assistant to the Staff Judge Advocate, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Joint Base San Antonio- Lackland, Texas (2023- 2025) . From 2017 to 2020, she served as legal advisor to the Secretary of the Air Force Personnel Council, Air Force Review Boards Agency, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. She has served in numerous other positions as an active duty and Reserve Air Force judge advocate during her 21- year military career. From 2001 to 2025, she also worked as a part-time associate with Blume Forte in Chatham, New Jersey. Judge Donato is a member of the New Jersey State Bar and the New York State Bar.
