From August 2024 to May 2026, she was command counsel at U.S. Fleet Cyber Command/Space Command/JFHQ-C/U.S. 10th Fleet, Fort Meade, Maryland. From August 2023 to August 2025, she served as senior trial counsel for specialized litigation with the U.S. Air Force, Commercial Litigation Field Support Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. From August 2020 to August 2023, she served as senior trial counsel - contracts litigation at the Navy Litigation Office, Office of the General Counsel, Department of the Navy, Washington Navy Yard. From November 2015 to August 2020, she was the associate attorney, Naval Facilities Engineering Command - Europe, Africa & Southwest Asia, Naples, Italy. From January 2014 to November 2015, she was an attorney advisor for Army Contracting Command - E xp e ditionary Contract Command, Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar. From October 2011 to January 2014, she was an attorney advisor at Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas. From 1995 to 2009, she was a trial lawyer in various regional law firms specializing in complex construction litigation throughout the United States. Judge Walter is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
