Official biography
Matthew C. Wallace was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge Wallace earned a Bachelor of Science in 2005 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Juris Doctor in 2012 from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University. From November 2012 to April 2026, he served as an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office in Cincinnati. From June 2008 to August 2012, he served as a clerk for Judge Ralph E. Winkler with the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. From May 2000 to May 2006, he served in the Ohio Air National Guard as a non- commissioned officer in the 178th Fighter Wing, in Springfield, Ohio. Judge Wallace is a member of the Ohio State Bar.
Education: Judge Wallace earned a Bachelor of Science in 2005 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Juris Doctor in 2012 from Salmon P.
