Official biography
Kyle V. Mitchell was a ppointed as an immigration judge in June 2026. Judge Mitc hell was previously appointed as a temporary immigration judge and began hearing cases in November 2 025. F rom 2021 to 2025, he served in various attorney positions with the Federal government. F rom 2015 to 20 21, he served in leadership positions at a prominent Texas non-p rofit. From 2006 to 2015, he served in the executive branch of state government for the State of Texas. From 2000 to 2006, he served as an attorney in state government f or the State of Florida and a distinguished law firm. Since 2003, Judge Mitchell has served as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army Reserve, t he Texas National Guard, and the U.S. Army.
