Official biography

Kamra Sellers Craig was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge Craig earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2010 from Louisiana State University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2013 from Mississippi College of Law. From 2019 to 2026, she served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where she held special designations as a national security attorney and a federal litigation attorney. From 2014 to 2019 she was in private practice as a solo practitioner in Jena, Louisiana. Judge Craig is a member of the Louisiana State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

Education: Judge Craig earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2010 from Louisiana State University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2013 from Mississippi College of Law.

Bar admission: Judge Craig is a member of the Louisiana State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.
