Judge Adams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Juris Doctor in 2004 from Suffolk University Law School. He served as deputy chief counsel for the Office of Chief Counsel, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security from February 2011 to March 2017, and as an assistant chief counsel from 2007 to 2011. From 2004 through 2007, he was an attorney for the U.S. Air Force. Judge Adams is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
