Official biography

Eric Wang was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge Wang earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2011 from the University of California, Davis, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2014 from Golden Gate University School of Law. From February 2026 to April 2026, he served as an administrative law judge with the State Hearings Division for the State of California. From January 2022 to July 2024, he served as a deputy district attorney with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, and from July 2019 to January 2022, he served as a deputy city attorney with the San Diego City Attorney's Office. From October 2015 to July 2019, he served as a deputy district attorney with the Tulare County District Attorney's Office. Judge Wang is a member of the State Bar of California.

Education: Judge Wang earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2011 from the University of California, Davis, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2014 from Golden Gate University School of Law.

Bar admission: Judge Wang is a member of the State Bar of California.
