Denise M. Bowen was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in June 2026. Judge Bowen earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1999 from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctor in 2002 from New England Law. From March 2017 to April 2026, she was in private practice with Bowen Law in Jacksonville, Florida. From November 2004 to March 2017, she served as a Florida State Trial Court general magistrate for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville, Florida, after serving as a staff attorney from June 2004 to November 2004. From October 2002 to November 2004, she was in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida. Judge Bowen is a member of the Florida Bar.

Education: Judge Bowen earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1999 from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctor in 2002 from New England Law.

Bar admission: Judge Bowen is a member of the Florida Bar.
