Official biography

Darin W. Flagg was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in March 2026. Judge Flagg earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1997 from the University of Missouri- Columbia and a Juris Doctor in 2000 from Tulane University School of Law. From March 2015 to February 2026, he was a senior associate and later associate partner and chair of the Law & Motion department at Murchison & Cumming LLP in Los Angeles. From February 2001 to March 2015, he was an associate and later partner at Water, McCluskey & Boehle in Los Angeles. Judge Flagg is a member of the State Bar of California.

Education: Judge Flagg earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1997 from the University of Missouri- Columbia and a Juris Doctor in 2000 from Tulane University School of Law.

Bar admission: Judge Flagg is a member of the State Bar of California.
