Robert Boudreau

Robert J. Boudreau was appointed as a temporary immigration judge to begin hearing cases in October 2025. Judge Boudreau earned a Bachelor of Science in 2004 and a Master of Science in 2005 from the State University of New York at Albany, and a Juris Doctor in 2008 from Boston University School of Law. From 2022 to 2025, he served as a staff attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Fort Worth, Texas. From 2018 to 2022, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Texas in Fort Worth. From 2015 to 2018, he served as a trial attorney with the Tax Division, Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. From 2011 to 2015, he served as an active-duty judge advocate with the U.S. Marine Corps in Beaufort, South Carolina, and continues to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve as a military judge, where he holds the rank of lieutenant colonel. From 2008 to 2010, he was an associate attorney with Winston & Strawn LLP in New York. Judge Boudreau is a member of the State Bar of Texas and New York State Bar.
