Kevin D. Stroberg was appointed as a temporary immigration judge to begin hearing cases in February 2026. Judge Stroberg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2000 from Auburn University, a Master of Public Administration in 2003 from Auburn University, and a Juris Doctor in 2011 from Mercer University School of Law. From June 2025 to January 2026, he was an assistant district attorney at the Ocmulgee Circuit District Attorney's Office in Georgia. From June 2017 to June 2025, he served as a public defender at the Ocmulgee Circuit Public Defender's Office in Georgia. From October 2014 to April 2016, he was an assistant district attorney at the Macon Circuit District Attorney's Office in Georgia. From August 2011 to October 2014, he served as a public defender at the Macon Circuit Public Defender's Office in Georgia. Judge Stroberg also has served an assistant staff judge advocate in the U.S. Air Force since May 2013, where he holds the rank of major. Judge Stroberg is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
