Ana Lorena Quiros was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in November 2024. Judge Quiros earned a Bachelor of Science in 1994 from the University of Miami and a Juris Doctor in 2001 from Nova Southeastern University with a Certificate of International Concentration. From 2021 to 2024, she was in private practice as the president at the law firm Quiros Law PLLC in Florida, where she represented noncitizens before EOIR and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). From 2019 to 2021, she served as an asylum officer, Refugee Asylum and International Operations Directorate, USCIS, DHS in Miami. From 2017 to 2019, she was a managing attorney for Catholic Charities Legal Services of the Archdiocese of Miami (CCLS) in the following roles: director for the New American Defender Program (2017- 2021) and director of the Citizenship & Immigration Reform Programs (2015- 2021). From 2015 to 2017, she worked as a staff attorney at CCLS. From 2003 to 2015, she was in private practice as a solo practitioner and later partner at Russell, Quiros PA. From 2001 to 2003, she worked as a staff attorney for CCLS in Miami. Judge Quiros is a member of the Florida Bar.
Education: Judge Quiros earned a Bachelor of Science in 1994 from the University of Miami and a Juris Doctor in 2001 from Nova Southeastern University with a Certificate of International Concentration.
