Kevin Gross was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in March 2026. Judge Gross earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Juris Doctor in 2006 from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law of the College of William and Mary. From April 2021 to February 2026, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. From December 2010 to April 2021, he worked for the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Fredericksburg, Virginia, as a deputy commonwealth's attorney (March 2017- April 2021) and as an assistant commonwealth's attorney (December 2010- March 2017). From November 2008 to December 2010, he served as an assistant commonwealth's attorney for the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Danville, Virginia. From October 2006 to October 2008, he served as a staff attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta. Judge Gross is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
