Jeremy A. Rovinsky was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge Rovinsky earned Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science with honors in 2006 from American University, a Juris Doctor with honors in 2012 from George Washington University, and a Master of Business Administration in 2020 from Purdue University Global. He was first appointed as a judicial officer in January 2017 for the Trial Courts of Arizona. From March 2025 to May 2026, he served as counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Phoenix. From June 2022 to March 2025, he served as a prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office in Phoenix, where he received awards for his professional and volunteer work. From July 2014 to June 2022, he was dean and general counsel of National Paralegal College, Crestpoint University. From August 2013 to July 2014, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Andrew Gould, Arizona Court of Appeals, Phoenix Arizona. Judge Rovinsky is a member of the State Bar of Arizona.
