Judge Chapman earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctor in 2004 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center. From April 2017 to February 2026, she was an assistant district attorney/deputy bureau chief with the East Baton Rouge District Attorney's Office in Baton Rouge. From February 2014 to March 2017, she was an associate attorney at Clayton, Fruge & Ward in Port Allen, Louisiana. From August 2008 to December 2013, she was an assistant district attorney with the East Baton Rouge District Attorney's Office in Baton Rouge. From March 2006 to July 2008, she was a law clerk to the Honorable Rachel P. Morgan at the 19th Judicial District Court in Baton Rouge. From October 2004 to February 2006, she was an associate attorney at Keogh, Cox & Wilson in Baton Rouge. Judge Chapman is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
