Frank A. Jury II was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge Jury earned a Bachelor of Criminal Justice with Honors in 1995 from Indiana University and a Juris Doctor in 1998 from Valparaiso University School of Law. From April 2023 to April 2026, he served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Pearsall, Texas. From April 2022 to April 2023, he served as an industry operations investigator with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives in Fort Wayne, Indiana. From December 1999 to March 2022, he was in private practice in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, and divorce in Valparaiso, Indiana. From January 1999 to December 1999, he served as a deputy prosecutor at the Lake County Prosecutor's Office in Crown Point, Indiana. From May 1997 to December 1997, he clerked for the Porter County Prosecutor's Office in Portage, Indiana, and for the Porter County Attorney's Office in Valparaiso, Indiana. From September 1992 to December 1994, he was a police officer with the Indiana University Police in Gary. Judge Jury is a member of the Indiana State Bar.
