Taylor A. Gillespie was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge Gillespie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sustainability in 2016 from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris Doctor with an honors concentration in Business Law and Compliance in 2020 from the University of Dayton Schol of Law. From March 2024 to April 2026, she served as an administrative law judge at the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance in Buffalo, New York. From July 2021 to March 2024, she served as an assistant district attorney in Buffalo City Court, Justice Courts, and Felony Trials at the Erie County District Attorney's Office in Buffalo, New York. She was a recipient of the Woman of Distinction Award (146th Assembly District) in 2025 and a recipient of the Buffalo Business First 30 Under 30 Award in 2023. Judge Gillespie is a member of the New York State Bar.
