Jeffry Brady

Jeffry S. Brady was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in March 2026. Judge Brady earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1984 from Iowa State University, a Juris Doctor with Honors in 1992 from Drake University Law School, a Master of Laws with Honors in 1999 from the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Legal Center and School, and a Master of Business Administration in 2019 from the University of Iowa. From June 2004 to February 2026, he served as the president and general counsel for various defense contract firms, a task force officer for the FBI National Joint Terrorism Task Force, the plant manager at a manufacturing plant, and the manager of security for a Fortune 500 energy utility company. From 1984 to 2004, he served on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps, first as an infantry officer and later as a judge advocate. In 2004, he retired as the chief of staff, Campaign Support Group, U.S. Special Operations Command. Judge Brady is a member of the Indiana State Bar.
